Menstrual (your period) - Estrogen and progesterone are low day 1-5
Follicular (pre-egg release) - Estrogen climbs, reaches its peak in the later days day 1-14
Ovulation (release of the egg) - LH and FSH are highest day 15
Luteal (post-egg release) - progesterone peaks and estrogen rises but not as high day 16- 28
