SYMPTOM SYNCING
Our gals with endometriosis or PCOS, can’t simply follow the standard cycle syncing technique.
You may have noticed that you find certain symptoms and emotions throughout the month, which could be triggered by your cycle phase or by a particular food.
What is PCOS?
Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is a common hormonal condition that affects ovarian function, often causing irregular periods, high levels of male hormones (androgens), and difficulty with ovulation. There are four types: insulin-resistant PCOS, inflammatory PCOS, adrenal PCOS, and post-pill PCOS, each with different causes and treatment approaches.
Nutrition plays a crucial role in managing symptoms by helping to balance hormones, reduce inflammation, and regulate blood sugar. A tailored diet, focused on whole foods, healthy fats, and blood sugar control, can significantly improve symptoms and overall well-being.

What is endometriosis?
Endometriosis is a chronic condition where tissue similar to the uterine lining grows outside the uterus, causing pain, especially during menstruation, intercourse, and bowel movements, along with potential fertility issues. It is linked to hormonal imbalances, immune dysfunction, and inflammation.
A low histamine diet can help manage these symptoms. Histamine, a chemical involved in inflammation, can worsen pain and discomfort in those with endometriosis. Foods like aged cheese, cured meats, and alcohol are high in histamine and can trigger inflammation. By reducing these foods and focusing on fresh, non-processed options, a low histamine diet helps lower inflammation and ease symptoms.
